ABOUT ME
My story is my work. My work is my passion.
I didn’t start doing any of this by chance. I believe I was picked for this mission—and that I was being prepared for it long before I was even born.
This movement has been built around a fire that’s been burning slowly for many decades. It’s something that has been developing inside me for a long time, even before I understood what it was.
When I was a kid, I never said, “I want to grow up and tell addiction stories or become a recovery advocate.” That wasn’t the plan.
But somehow, that’s exactly where my life brought me.
I didn’t get into the world of recovery because I thought I was going to save people. I got into it because I needed to save myself.
At first, my story was nothing more than a collection of scribbles—pieces of experiences, mistakes, pain, lessons, and moments that I didn’t always understand myself.
But the more I started putting those pieces together, the more I began to understand my own story.
And somewhere along the way, something changed.
It stopped being just work.
It became a purpose.
Then it became a passion.
Now, I use my story—not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it’s like to be lost, to struggle, to fall, and to search for a way forward.
If something I’ve lived through can help someone else find their way, then my story has a purpose beyond me.
